Here are the shots from our photoshoot! I am suprised how well they turned out. Abbey was in full "storm cloud" mode and Lilly was just so busy checking everything out it didn't seem like she ever stopped for Laura to take a picture! Apparently she did! Towards the end of the hour we still hadn't taken any good shots of Abbey, so I crouched behind Laura and played "peekaboo" with the girls while she took their picture. It was almost 9 am, and already atleast 80 degrees and humid, and I was in jeans. Needless to say I was a little sweaty by the end of the session!

Happy Birthday Lilly!

We had a great day! We started out by going to our friend Sara's pool. Lilly and Abbey had a great time playing in the water!

After her nap, Lilly and Abbey played until our guests arrived.

Finally, it was time for the cupcakes Abbey and I had made Lilly. She was a little tentative at first, but then she dove right in!

Busy

I can't believe I was only able to post once for the month of June! Well, all I can say is that I have never been busier in my life, so much to do and two little girls who need my attention all of the time makes for almost no free time. Trust me, that is not a complaint, because all of the crying and fussiness is quickly forgotten with one "I love you" and snuggle.

With that being said, we almost have a one and three year old on our hands! Lilly has already mastered tantrums at the young age of 11 months (what is she going to be like at two!?!?) along with walking and starting to communicate. Abbey is completely fixated with all things "B": boo-boos, birthdays and ballerinas. She will start preschool in August and I am also going to enroll her in a pre-ballet class.

Trip to Indy!

We had a great time visiting the Eilmes' family in Indianapolis! I still need to get some group shots from Jill, but here are the pictures that I took of our trip to the children's museum. The boys stayed home with Lilly and Jill and I took the older girls on a date with mom :)

There was a large play zone that was Dora the Explorer and Diego themed. Since Abbey loves her toons, and those two in particular, we spent atleast 30 minutes watching the girls play at the different exhibits:
