Lilly's Debut!

We were surprised when we went to our ultrasound this morning- the tech offered to take some pictures using the 3D ultrasound! Baby Lilly looks great, and she weighs 2lbs 12oz at 28 weeks. She is smiling in this picture!

Abbey's a Busy Girl

Abbey has been on the move lately, going from playdate to playdate, and also just enjoying some good Georgia weather. The weeks are going by so quickly and Lilly will be here before we know it!

Abbey got to go to her first birthday party last week. She had a lot of fun playing outside with the kids, running through the bubble machine, and watching everyone else eat cake. She had a little frosting, but otherwise was the healthiest kid at the party!

Abbey has also started treating her stuffed dolls like playmates, which she has been doing for awhile but I just recently realized that she understands what to do with them if I ask her to complete a task. For example, I'll ask her to buckle her bear into her car seat and she'll comply (she likes to play in the PARKED car, so the bear doesn't get preferential seating when we are actually on the go). She'll also push her dolls in the stroller, feed them, dance with them, push them in her swing and go down the slide with them.

Taking her bears to the back seat.

I am also going to upload some more dancing videos. She was a little distracted btween wanting to play ball, dancing, and having an afternoon snack, but Peter and I thought everyone should see that she's got some new moves. They are called "Distracted Dancing" 1-3.

Some Water Fun

The weather has been above normal this week (pushing 90 degrees) and what better way to beat the heat than by getting into the water! I took Abbey to Lake Lanier on Monday. She was a little timid of the water at first, but then got as high as her chest before demanding to be picked up- she kept going deeper to get to the "balls" (bouys) that were in the water. Next time I'll have to make sure I put her (and me- ugh) in a swimsuit!

On Tuesday I bought her more bubbles for the bubble kit that I bought for her Easter basket. Well, she was more interested in putting the toys with the bubbles in her mouth, so instead I put the bubble solution into our fire pit, sprayed it with the hose, and let Abbey play in her outdoor bubble bath. She was intrigued for an hour! And all pregnant momma had to do was watch from the deck in the shade :)

Abbey's Easter Sun Dress

Abbey wore a dress that my friend Tamarah gave her for her 1st birthday. It looked so cute, and most importantly, wasn't too hot for our 85 degree Easter day we had!

Easter Egg Hunt

Our mom's group had an Easter Egg Hunt at a local park for the kids. I wasn't sure if Abbey would get it, but she sure did! She collected 16 plastic eggs in about 5 minutes. It was a lot of fun, and make sure to check the video of her collecting eggs on the youtube channel. It was cut short because at the end of the video you can see Abbey running straight for an unleashed Boxer!

25 Weeks

I had my friend Sara take a photo for those of you who have been asking how big the ol' belly is getting. So here you are. Not the most flattering photo, maybe I'll try for a better one on Easter!
