February Fun

Abbey has had a busy February! I wish we could be spending even more time outside, but the weather has been pretty cold for Georgia. Above are some pictures of her conquering her new slide.

Sitting in her grocery cart, waiting for the babysitter to arrive.

One of her new favorite things is to stand on her stool in the kitchen and play in this drawer. I had to clean out all the sharp items, and for now she hasn't pulled her stool up to anything but this drawer and the sink. We'll see how long that lasts!

I took Abbey to Panera Bread yesterday after a trip to the soft play area at the mall and a failed attempt to get Peter out to lunch (he was stuck in a meeting I didn't know about). She had the best time! We were there for about an hour, and she was very content drinking my soda, and splitting my chips and eating her fruit cup.

Ahhhh...pictures from this last weekend, which was glorious! It was 70 degrees, and Peter had the great idea of letting Abbey play in the water outside. She probably spent over 3 hours outside that day, which made for a tired toddler and early bedtime of 7pm! We enjoyed watching the Olympic Hockey while Abbey got some earlier shuteye. I also uploaded a new video of Abbey playing in the water to the youtube site!

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!

We watched over 3 inches of snow fall yesterday, which I am sure isn't a regular occurrence here in Georgia. Although Abbey doesn't have boots and refuses to wear gloves (I put her hat on after we had been outside a few minutes, so I think she was ready to wear one at that point), I decided that a trek out into the snow would still be worth it. I was glad I took her out! She enjoyed a good 45 minutes of walking, running, and eating the snow. She also loved watching me make our snowman.

I also uploaded 3 new videos to her youtube site! Enjoy!

Playing in her Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is right underneath her slide on her new swing set. She enjoys playing peek-a-boo through the windows, and going in and out of the door repeatedly.
On a side note, she has gone up to size 6 in sneakers, which means she finally gets to wear the pink glitter Converse that Robin bought her!

Cuddling with Frankie

Abbey likes to get right in front of Frankie and lay her head down on her. Surprisingly enough, Frankie has no problem with this!
